Hot Crab Meat Rose´ is made with rose´ wine.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound crab meat
  • 1/2 cup rose wine
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • dash of cayenne pepper
  • pinch of thyme
  • 1 cup celery, sliced
  • 2 hard cooked eggs, chopped
  • 1/2 cup almonds, slivered
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

Directions

  1. Marinate crab meat in wine in bowl for 30 minutes.
  2. Combine sour cream, mustard, salt, cayenne and thyme in bowl, blending well. Toss crab meat and wine with sour cream mixture. Stir in celery and eggs. Pour into buttered casserole.
  3. Combine almonds, cheese and butter, sprinkling on top. Bake at 325 degrees F for 25 minutes. Brown under broiler if necessary.
