If you want to turn a regular Sunday morning into a day to remember for the kids, try making this hot and creamy chocolate dip and serving with pancakes. Just don’t tell them that avocado is one of the main ingredients!
- 8 ounces whole milk
- 1/2 avocado
- 1-1/2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- Sugar to taste
- Place the milk, avocado and cocoa powder into a blender and process until smooth. Add sugar to taste and then continue to blend the mixture until combined.
- Empty the mixture into a saucepan over medium-low heat and cook until just heated through.
- Transfer the dip to a bowl and serve immediately.
