Hot and Sweet Mustard Sauce is perfect on eggrolls.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup dry mustard
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
Directions
- Combine mustard and oil in small bowl, stirring to blend well. Add 2 tablespoons water gradually, stirring constantly. Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt in small saucepan. Add 1/2 cup water and vinegar gradually, stirring constantly.
- Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes or until thick, stirring constantly. Add to mustard mixture gradually, stirring constantly to blend. Store covered in refrigerator; stir before serving.
