Hot and Sweet Mustard Sauce is perfect on eggrolls.


  • 1/4 cup dry mustard
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar


  1. Combine mustard and oil in small bowl, stirring to blend well. Add 2 tablespoons water gradually, stirring constantly. Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt in small saucepan. Add 1/2 cup water and vinegar gradually, stirring constantly.
  2. Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes or until thick, stirring constantly. Add to mustard mixture gradually, stirring constantly to blend. Store covered in refrigerator; stir before serving.
