This cocktail gets its name from the thick, spiral lemon peel that is used to garnish this brandy, Angostura bitters and ginger beer drink.


  • 2 ounces brandy
  • dash Angostura bitters
  • ginger beer
  • 1 long, thick lemon peel spiral


  1. Arrange the lemon spiral in a cocktail glass so that it wraps itself around the inside of the glass and then hangs over the rim.
  2. Fill the glass with ice, pour in the brandy and the bitters and then top with the ginger beer; serve immediately.
