Honeysnaps are a snap to make!
Ingredients
- 1-1/2 cups shortening
- sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup honey
- 4 cups flour, sifted
- 2 teaspoons soda
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
- Cream shortening and 2 cups sugar in a bowl until smooth. Beat in eggs and honey. Add dry ingredients and vanilla, mixing well.
- Shape into 1-inch balls. Roll in sugar. Place 2 inches apart on baking sheet.
- Bake at 375 degrees F for 15 to 18 minutes.
