Honeysnaps are a snap to make!

Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 cups shortening
  • sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 4 cups flour, sifted
  • 2 teaspoons soda
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Cream shortening and 2 cups sugar in a bowl until smooth. Beat in eggs and honey. Add dry ingredients and vanilla, mixing well.
  2. Shape into 1-inch balls. Roll in sugar. Place 2 inches apart on baking sheet.
  3. Bake at 375 degrees F for 15 to 18 minutes.
