This bread makes an excellent breakfast treat, especially served alongside a hot cup of coffee or tea.
Ingredients
- 2-1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 3/4 cup honey
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 cups dried cranberries
- 1 cup chopped nuts
Directions
- Mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and oats.
- In a separate bowl, mix together honey, vegetable oil, eggs and milk.
- Blend flour combination into honey mixture.
- Fold in cranberries and nuts.
- Pour batter into greased loaf pans.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
