Whiskey is substituted for Añejo tequila in this slightly spicy and soothing honey and lemon juice Toddy.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 ounce Añejo tequila
  • 1/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup freshly brewed black tea
  • cinnamon stick and lemon wheel to garnish

Directions

  1. Place the honey into a heatproof mug and then add the tequila and lemon juice. Slowly add the hot tea, stirring to combine, and then garnish the drink with a cinnamon stick and a lemon wheel. Serve immediately.
