Making your own mustard will give you a fresher, zestier and bolder condiment than the store-bought variety.

  • 1/2 cup yellow mustard seeds
  • 3/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1-1/2 teaspoon sugar

  1. Place the mustard seeds in a small bowl with the vinegar and the water, making sure they are covered completely. Allow to soak for 2 days.
  2. Add the sugar to the bowl and mix well until sugar has dissolved.
