Homemade Tomato Juice is fresh and delicious.
Ingredients
- 6 quarts of tomato juice from fresh tomatoes
- 2 1/2 teaspoons onion salt
- 1 teaspoon celery salt
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 tablespoon salt
- black pepper to taste
Directions
- Core and quarter tomatoes and boil until soft. Force through food mill to get the juice. Add the rest of the ingredients and bring to a boil.
- Place in canning jars, following canning directions.
