Homemade Spatzle are easy to make and great with Chicken Paprika.


  • 3 cups flour, sifted
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon white pepper
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted


  1. Combine flour, salt and pepper in a medium bowl; make well in center. Add eggs and water to well and mix thoroughly.
  2. Scoop up dough on a spatula and cut off small pieces with knife into boiling salted water. As spatzle rises to the top, scoop out with a slotted spoon and put in covered bowl until all are made. Toss with melted butter; keep warm until ready to serve.
