Homemade southern potato chip recipe.
Ingredients
- Medium or large Potatoes
- Salt (1/2 teaspoon per cu pof potatoes)
- Red pepper to taste
Directions
- Slice the potatoes into thin wafers. Cover with ice water for 2 hours.
- Drain and sprinkle with the salt.
- Fry in hot grease, circulating, until golden brown. Drain and sprinkle with red pepper.
