Old fashioned shredded cabbage and ham dish.
Ingredients
- 1 head cabbage (shredded)
- 2 pounds ham hocks
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon red vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 teaspoon pepper
Directions
- Bring water to a boil. Add in all the ingredients. Cover and cook on low until cabbage is tender.
- Additional water may be added if needed.
