Serve Holiday Wine Sauce over strawberry ice cream.

Ingredients

1/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup dry red wine
1/4 cup brandy
1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
dash ground cinnamon
dash ground cloves
1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch

Directions

Combine sugar, wine, brandy, lemon juice, cinnamon and cloves in saucepan. Mix cornstarch and 2 tablespoons water, stir into sauce. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Serve warm over strawberry ice cream.
