Holiday Rum Balls are a traditional favorite.


  • 2 tablespoons cocoa, sifted
  • 1 cup confectioner's sugar
  • 1/4 cup rum
  • 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
  • 2 1/2 cups vanilla wafers, crushed
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 cup confectioner's sugar


  1. Sift together cocoa and 1 cup confectioner's sugar. Stir in rum combined with light corn syrup. Add vanilla wafers and pecans. Mix thoroughly. Roll the mixture into small balls and dredge with remaining confectioner's sugar. Store in a tightly sealed container in a cool place.
