Sugar and pecan, fluffy candy treats.
Ingredients
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup water
- 3 tablespoons corn syrup
- 2 egg whites, stiffly beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups pecans, chopped
Directions
- Combine the sugar and water in a saucepan. Stir over low heat until dissolved. Mix in the syrup and cook to hard ball stage.
- Pour the syrup mixture into the egg whites. Mix until light and fluffy and holds it shape. Mix in the vanilla and nuts.
- Drop by spoon onto waxed paper.
