Healthy baby purees: Broccoli

Broccoli, and cauliflower, are an easy to make homemade baby food. Be watchful for gas in young infants though!


  • 1 bunch fresh or frozen broccoli


  1. Wash fresh broccoli and chop into small pieces.
  2. Steam until tender.
  3. Use a blender or food processor to puree, using retained cooking liquid as needed.
  4. Freeze immediately in covered trays or keep in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
