Hawaiian Turkey with Rice is a great way to use up leftover turkey. This turkey redo will have your family dancing the hula!
Ingredients
- 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 1/2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1/4 cup celery, diced
- 1/4 cup green pepper, diced
- 16 ounces of cooked turkey
- 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups rice, cooked
Directions
- Saute pineapple in butter; stir in flour with a fork and add remaining ingredients except for rice.
- Cook 10 minutes, stirring occasionally to keep from sticking. Serve over hot rice.
