Low fat sliced ham with a currant wine sauce.


  • 1 1/2 pounds lean cooked sliced ham
  • 1 cup currant jelly
  • 1 cup red cooking wine
  • 4 tablespoons sugar


  1. Mix together the jelly, wine and sugar in a saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Continue to boil until it forms a thick sauce.
  2. Serve over the sliced ham.
