Grouper Parmesan is a great dish for fish lovers.  Substitute any firm white fish if grouper is not available.


  • 2 pounds grouper fillets
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon onion, grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • dash Tabasco sauce
  • dash paprika
  • chopped parsley as a garnish


  1. Cut skinless fillets into serving size portions. Place in a single layer in a well greased 9 by 13 inch baking dish.
  2. Combine remaining ingredients except paprika and parsley. Spread this mixture over fish. Sprinkle with paprika.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork. Garnish with chopped parsley.
