For especially intense flavor and aroma, grind you own spices with a spice grinder or a coffee grinder just prior to preparing this flavored mustard recipe.


  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup prepared mustard


  1. Place the cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon and mustard into a bowl and stir well to blend. Transfer the mixture to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator until ready to use.
