A simple, cold green bean salad.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (16 ounce) French style sliced green beans, well drained
  • 1 green onion
  • 1/3 cup white vinegar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 4 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons oil

Directions

  1. Add beans to bowl. Snip green onion and add to beans.
  2. Mix together the vinegar, sugar and garlic salt. Stir in oil and water. Beat with a whisk. Pour over beans, tossing to mix. Chill overnight and serve cold.
