Pour a generous amount of Grannie's Hot Fudge Sauce on ice cream and top with salted peanuts or pecans.


  • 2 squares bitter chocolate
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • pinch of cream of tartar
  • dash of salt
  • 1 cup evaporated milk


  1. Melt chocolate in double boiler. Add sugar, salt and cream of tartar. Very slowly add and mix in evaporated milk and bring to a rolling boil.
  2. Store in refrigerator.
