Grandma Smith's Barbecue is for either pork or beef.

Ingredients

  • 1, 3 to 4 pound pork roast
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup chili sauce
  • 3 tablespoons vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Directions

  1. Wrap roast in foil. Bake at 325 degrees F for 3 hours or until well done. Cool roast and cut meat from bone in strips.
  2. Cook onion in butter in saucepan until transparent. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer for 1 hour. Add beef to sauce. Serve on buns.
