  • 7 eggs, separated
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla


  1. Beat egg whites until stiff; add 1 cup sugar. Beat until shiny and very stiff. Beat egg yolks and 1/2 cup sugar until light yellow; add vanilla. Fold yolks into whites, then fold in flour. Pour into a greased tube pan.
  2. Bake at 350 degrees F for 40-50 minutes.
