Muddled raspberries give this cocktail exceptional flavor and beautiful ruby red color to its presentation.
- 6 fresh raspberries
- 1 packed tablespoon dark brown sugar
- Ice cubes
- 2 ounces golden rum
- Juice of 1/2 lime
- Place the raspberries into a rocks cocktail glass along with the sugar and muddle to combine.
- Place the rum and lime juice into a cocktail shaker and then fill with ice.
- Vigorously shake the mixture for 30 seconds and then strain the mixture into the prepared glass. Add a few ice cubes and serve immediately.
