Cinnamon glazed carrot side dish.
Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 3 tablespoons water
- 8 medium carrots
- 4 tablespoons apple juice
- 1/2 teaspoon cinamon
- 1/8 teaspoon allspice
- 2 teaspoons grated orange peel
- 1 3/4 cup water
Directions
- Combine the cornstarch and 3 tablespoons of water.
- Mix together the carrots, apple juice, cinnamon, allspice and orange peel in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Stir in the cornstarch mixture and continue heating until the sauce has thickened.
