Sweet, orange and brown sugar carrots.
- 1 1/2 pounds raw carrots
- 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon grated orange peel
- 2 1/2 tablespoons butter
- Cook the carrots until tender in a small amount of water. Drain and cut into strips.
- In the same saucepan combine all the ingredients in the saucepan and heat on low, stirring occasionally, until glazed. Approximately 5 minutes.
