Homemade gingersnap cookie recipe.
Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup molasses
- 4 cups flour
- 1 cup butter
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Mix together the butter, sugar, flour, salt, and spices. Stir in the egg, water and molasses. Beat until the batter becomes stiff. Roll out and punch cookies out with a cutter.
- Bake on ungreased sheets for about 10 minutes.
