These sweet Christmas cookies are perfect for sharing with friends and family.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1-1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1 cup chopped nuts

Directions

  1. Cream butter, sugar and egg; mix well.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt.
  3. Blend flour combination into egg mixture.
  4. Fold in butterscotch chips and nuts.
  5. Drop by teaspoon onto prepared cookie sheets.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
