Delicious ginger and molasses cupcakes.
Ingredients
- 2/3 cup molasses
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 cups cake flour
- 1 cup sour milk
- 3 eggs, beaten
Directions
- Mix together the molasses, soda, sugar, butter and spices in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then cool. Blend the in the flour, eggs and milk.
- Fill muffin tins 2/3 full and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes.
