Delicious ginger and molasses cupcakes.

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup molasses
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 cups cake flour
  • 1 cup sour milk
  • 3 eggs, beaten

Directions

  1. Mix together the molasses, soda, sugar, butter and spices in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then cool. Blend the in the flour, eggs and milk.
  2. Fill muffin tins 2/3 full and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes.
