The tangy taste of ginger give these carrots a wonderful flavor.

Ingredients

  • 3 carrots, cut into 3 x 1/4 inch strips
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger

Directions

  1. Cook carrots in a small amount of boiling water until crisp tender.
  2. Drain and set aside.
  3. Melt butter in a saucepan.
  4. Stir in sugar and ginger.
  5. Cook over medium low heat, stirring constantly until sugar dissolves.
  6. Add carrots.
  7. Cook stirring gently until carrots are well coated and thoroughly heated.
