This cocktail is the classy, old-school version of the modern gin and juice mixed drink. Use fresh grapefruit juice for a more luscious mouthfeel.
- 1 ounce Bols Genever gin
- 1 ounce sweet vermouth
- 1 ounce fresh ruby red grapefruit juice
- 1/4 ounce simple syrup
- orange zest to garnish
- Place all of the ingredients, except for the orange peel, into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Slowly stir the mixture for 30 seconds and then strain into a cocktail glass filled with fresh ice.
- Garnish the drink with the orange zest and then serve immediately.
