One of the first “Rickey” cocktails to ever be made, this gin-based drink is named after former member of congress Joe Rickey.
- 1-1/2 ounces gin
- 1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
- Cold club soda
- Wedge of lime
- Place a highball cocktail glass in the freezer for 5 minutes to chill.
- Pour the gin and the lime juice into the prepared glass filled with ice, and then top with club soda to fill.
- Rub the lime wedge around the rim of the glass, squeeze the juice into the mixture and then drop the wedge into the glass. Serve immediately.
