The Gin Bramble was created by Dick Bradsell at Fred’s Club in Soho, London, in the mid-80s. Use blackberry liqueur, otherwise known as crème de mûre, for a rich and deep berry flavor.
Ingredients
- 1-1/2 ounces London Dry gin
- 3/4 ounce lime juice
- 1/2 ounce simple syrup
- 3/4 ounce blackberry liqueur
- Lime wheel to garnish
Directions
- Place the gin, lime juice and simple syrup into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Shake the mixture for 30 seconds and then strain into a cocktail glass filled with fresh crushed ice.
- Drizzle the blackberry brandy over the top of the cocktail and then garnish with the lime wheel; serve immediately.
