German Meatballs are served with a sour cream gravy.

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • 1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1/2 teapoon salt
  • dash pepper
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1, 10 1/2 ounce can beef broth
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon flour mixed with water

Directions

  1. Mix egg, milk, parsley, bread crumbs, salt, pepper and ground beef. Form into 1 1/2 inch meatballs and brown in skillet. Drain fat. Add broth and onion; simmer 30 minutes. Stir in sour cream and cook until thickened.
