Garlic and Onion Pork Roast

Simple pork roast recipe.


  • 10-12 pounds pork roast
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste


  1. Slit the roast three inches deep every 6 inches.
  2. Mix together the remaining ingredients, dampen with water. Rub into the roast.
  3. Heat a small amount of oil in a pot, brown the roast on all sides. Add water and cover. Cook on high for 5 minutes, then reduce to a simmer and bake for 4 hours, or until done, turning occasionally.
