Breaded fish meat balls.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups ground garfish
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 3 tablespoons parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fat
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 1/2 cups cold water

Directions

  1. Clean, debone and grind the garfish.
  2. Mix the garfish with the salt, pepper, onion and parsley. Form into small balls and roll in flour.
  3. Lightly brown the balls in 1/2 inch fat in a skillet.
  4. In a separate skillet heat 2 tablespoons fat. Stir in the flour until browned. Blend in the water. Lower the heat and add the garfish balls. Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
