Kids will love these tuna stuffed pita pockets for lunch.
- 1 (6.5 ounce) can water-packed tuna, drained
- 1 carrot, shredded
- 1/2 6-inch zucchini, shredded
- 1 apple, cored and finely chopped
- 4 teaspoons mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon poppy seeds or wheat germ (optional)
- 2 whole-wheat pita breads
- Mix together everything but the breads.
- Cut the bread in half, and fill each pocket with the stuffing.
