Fruit Coffeecake

Use any flavor pie filling;  Fruit Coffeecake is versatile and easy to make.

Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 egg in cup, filled with milk
  • 1 can pie filling
  • Topping: 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar

Directions

  1. Cream together sugar and butter; add egg and milk, then flour and baking powder. Mix well. Spread on a greased cookie sheet. Spread with desired pie filling.
  2. Mix topping ingredients together and spread over fruit. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour.
