Fruit Cocktail Dessert is really a delicious fruity cobbler topped with nuts.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • pinch salt
  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • 1 large can fruit cocktail, drained for 2 hours
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup pecans, chopped

Directions

  1. Sift together flour, sugar, soda and salt. Mix together with egg and fruit cocktail. Pour into a greased 8 inch square baking pan. Sprinkle with brown sugar and nuts. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour.
