Fruit cocktail mixed cake with a warm brown sugar top.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 3 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 (19 ounce) can fruit cocktail
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Cake Topping:
- 8 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a 9x13-inch cake pan.
- Mix together all the cake ingredients. Pour into the prepared pan. Bake for 45 minutes. Cool.
- Combine all the topping ingredients in a saucepan and heat on low for 5 minutes. Pour over the cooled cake.
