Fruit Cocktail Bars are studded with colorful fruit and nuts. A hint of rum or brandy gives these unique cookie bars some zing!
Ingredients
- 1, 1 pound 14 ounce can fruit cocktail---don't drain juice
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 eggs
- 3 cups flour, sifted
- 3 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1 1/2 cup golden raisins
- 1 tablespoon rum or brandy
Directions
- Put all the ingredients into a large bowl. Stir until well blended.
- Pour into a well greased and floured 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes.
