Fruit Cake Deluxe

Fruit Cake Deluxe is studded with fruit and full of buttery goodness.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound butter, softened
  • 5 eggs
  • 4 cups nuts, chopped
  • 2 packages candied cherries
  • 2 packages candied pineapple
  • 1 small bottle vanilla extract
  • 1 small bottle lemon extract
  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

Directions

  1. Dredge fruit in 3/4 cup flour. Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs, 1 cup flour and baking powder. Fold in nuts. Add flavoring.
  2. Pour into a loaf pan and bake at 300 degrees F for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
