Frozen Chocolate Pecan Pie

Frozen Chocolate Pecan Pie is made with a great combo of favorite flavors.


  • Crust: 2 cups pecans, ground
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 5 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons rum
  • Filling: 6 ounces chocolate chips
  • 1/2 teaspoon instant coffee
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tablespoons rum
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup whipping cream


  1. Make Crust: Blend all crust ingredients until it holds together. Press into a 9 inch pie pan. Freeze one hour.
  2. Filling: Melt chocolate with coffee in a double boiler. Remove from heat and whisk in eggs, rum and vanilla. Let cool 5 minutes. Whip cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold into chocolate mixture. Pour into crust and freeze.
  3. About one hour before serving, transfer to refrigerator to soften a bit before cutting into wedges.
