Frozen Cherry Cheese Pie is made with a graham cracker crust and topped with cherry pie filling.
Ingredients
- 2 (3 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- dash of salt
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 envelope Dream Whip
- 7/8 cup cold milk
- 2 egg whites, stiffly beaten
- 1 unbaked 9 inch graham cracker crust, chilled
- 1 can cherry pie filling
Directions
- Combine first 3 ingredients in bowl, blending well. Add egg yolks and vanilla, beating until smooth. Prepare Dream Whip with milk using package directions. Add 2 cups Dream Whip to cream cheese mixture.
- Fold in egg whites. Pour into crust. Freeze for 3 to 4 hours. Let stand at room temperature for a few moments before serving. Top with pie filling and remaining Dream Whip.
