Frosty Fruit Salad is made with buttermilk for tangy smoothness.
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 quart buttermilk
- 1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple
- 1 (17 ounce) can fruit cocktail, drained
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- In a large bowl, combine sugar, salt, buttermilk and vanilla until well mixed. Gently stir in drained fruits. Pour into a 9-inch square pan. Freeze until firm.
