Deep fried tomato slices.
Ingredients
- 3 tomatoes, firm or unripened
- 2 cups cornmeal
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon flour
Directions
- Thickly slice tomatoes crosswise.
- Mix together the dry ingredients. Dip the tomatoes in the dry mixture until well coated.
- Fry in hot fat until golden brown.
