Fried white squash, perfect appetizer or side dish.
Ingredients
- 3 large white squash
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 cups buttered bread crumbs
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Peel the squash, slice thin. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Beat the eggs and milk together, dip the squash slices in mixture and then roll in bread crumbs. Dip in the milk and then roll in the bread crumbs again.
- Fry in hot grease until brown, approximately 5 minutes.
