Battered and fried fish.

Ingredients

  • 2-3 pounds fish
  • 2 1/2 cups cornmeal
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk

Directions

  1. Chop the fish into pan sized pieces.
  2. Combine the milk and egg. Dip the fish pieces in the egg and roll in the cornmeal, salt and pepper.
  3. Deep fry in hot grease until brown.
