Battered and fried fish.
Ingredients
- 2-3 pounds fish
- 2 1/2 cups cornmeal
- 1 1/2 tablespoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 egg
- 1 cup milk
Directions
- Chop the fish into pan sized pieces.
- Combine the milk and egg. Dip the fish pieces in the egg and roll in the cornmeal, salt and pepper.
- Deep fry in hot grease until brown.
